Emily’s Skincare & Spa has been providing top-notch services for over a decade in the serene South Atlanta area (specifically in Newnan, GA). Our staff is highly experienced and dedicated to creating meaningful connections with every client. We take great pride in offering treatments that not only treat and comfort our clients but also educate them on their unique skincare needs. Our tranquil environment is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Emily Mitchell
Spa Owner + Licensed Aesthetician + Laser Practitioner
Emily’s interest in skincare first stemmed from playing with makeup with her sister when they were in their teens. Later, she decided to take it further and attend aesthetics school in Atlanta directly after high school graduation. She became a licensed aesthetician and went on to work in different spas. She worked in a plastic surgeon’s office for a few years and then began to feel the call to open her own place. Her vision was to combine the knowledge and treatment of medical skincare with the feel of a relaxing spa environment.
Emily’s passions outside of her business include learning about and practicing holistic living, spending quality time with her family and friends, and teaching herself abstract art mediums.
Alec Harper
Licensed Aesthetician + Laser Practitioner
Alec has been a licensed esthetician for three years now and has been working for Emily’s team for a little over a year. Growing up, Alec always knew she wanted to be in the beauty industry, so she took a leap of faith and pursued her passion! In her spare time, you can find Alec spending time with her husband, family, friends, and fur babies. Alec states, “Each client’s skin is unique, and that’s where I find the excitement in my job because nothing is ever the same; it’s always a new challenge. Helping people feel comfortable in their own skin is something that always brings me joy! There are several services I enjoy doing, but my top favorites are sugar waxing and chemical peels!”
Alec’s go-to skincare product is Revision Skincare’s Hydrating Serum. This serum deeply moisturizes the skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Ava Taylor
Licensed Aesthetician + Laser Practitioner
Ava’s love for skincare and all things beauty started in high school when she learned that she could have a career doing the things she was most passionate about. From that point on, she was determined to be the best! When Ava is not working at the spa, you can find her snuggled up on the couch with her husband and pups or on the lake with her family.
Ava has been a part of Emily’s team for 3 years and loves servicing many of our wonderful clients.
Ava’s favorite skincare product always changes, but right now she can’t live without Revision Skincare’s D•E•J Daily Boosting Serum and the Marine Flower Peptide Night Cream from Eminence Organics. This combo is ultra-hydrating!
Neely Moore
Licensed Aesthetician + Laser Practitioner
Neely graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015. She has had a passion for skincare for as long as she can remember and has always known she wanted to help people build confidence in their skin. In 2022, Neely decided to make a career change and turn her passion for skincare into her profession by becoming an esthetician. Shortly after graduating from esthetician school, she started working at Emily’s in April 2023 and couldn’t be happier! She loves being able to pamper people every day and help them achieve their skincare goals. Being able to see the difference in a person’s skin after following her treatment and product recommendations is the most rewarding part of what she does!
Neely’s favorite product is the Promoter Repair Cell Moisturizer for dry to normal skin from the Korean skincare brand HOP + House of PLLA. This moisturizer has poly-l-lactic-acid (PLLA), a blend of growth factors, snail mucin, natto gum, and plant collagen, which leaves your skin feeling plump, firm, and soft!
Nicole Travers
Licensed Aesthetician + Laser Practitioner
Nicole was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. After graduating from college, she moved to Los Angeles with her cat to be with her boyfriend, now husband. It was there where she first entered the spa industry, starting from the front desk and later moving into operations management at one of the leading day spas in LA. She quickly realized that she wanted to work as an esthetician in the treatment rooms. That opportunity came when her husband got a job offer in Atlanta. Once they settled in Georgia, she attended school for esthetics at the Elaine Sterling Institute in Sandy Springs. She is now a mother to two beautiful girls and has made Newnan their forever home.
Nicole has been a licensed esthetician for almost 6 years and has been at Emily’s on and off for 3 years (due to moving and maternity leave).
Her favorite product, the Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Hydrator from Eminence, is the one she cannot live without.
